For most of my life, I have had at least one or two headaches a week. I would take something for it if it got too bad, but I learned to manage the pain pretty well on my own. About a year ago, the pain pills I bought over the counter were not helping me any more. The severity of the headaches were getting worse, and I knew that I needed to make an appointment to see what was causing my problems. A really good friend of mine suggested that I go to a Phoenix chiropractor since they were the ones who helped her when she had migraines.
I knew that I did not have migraines, or so I thought. I was under the impression that they left a person completely incapacitated. She told me that headaches in general can be caused by the spine not being properly aligned, which is why she thought I would benefit by going to the chiropractor who had helped her find the relief she desperately needed. I remembered the pain she used to be in, so I decided she could be right about this chiropractor helping me too.
I felt comfortable right away with the chiropractor, though it was just the first time I had met him. I gave him my history of headaches along with how much they were increasing in both frequency and pain. He then explained how the spinal column is connected to virtually everything in the body, including the neck and head. He further explained how a chiropractic adjustment could help me instantly feel relief, so I agreed to have one done. I also scheduled several more because I could tell a difference overall that same day in how my body felt. I have not had any headaches at all since I started getting my regular adjustments too, which is nothing short of a miracle.
